Steve Hackett: „The Tokyo Tapes“ wird neu aufgelegt

Als Steve Hackett 1996 sein erstes Genesis RevisitedAlbum veröffentlichte, ging er in Japan damit auf eine kurze Tour. Mit dabei waren John Wetton, Chester Thompson, Julian Colbeck und Ian Macdonald. Sehr zur Freude der Fans wurde das ganze in Tokyo aufgenommen und als 2CD, Video und DVD veröffentlicht. Zur Doppel-CD haben wir auch eine ausführliche Rezension unter diesem Link online.

Cherry Red werden nun 2CD und DVD in einer Veröffentlichung auf den Markt bringen. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass die 2CD remastert wurde, die DVD entspricht aber der Originalveröffentlichung, d.h. es gibt nur eine Stereo-Spur. Mit All Along The Watchtower (feat. John Wetton) ist auch ein neuer Studiotrack auf dem Album.

The Tokyo Tapes soll nach derzeitigem Stand am 20. Juni in Deutschland erscheinen und ist bei amazon und JPC vorbestellbar.
